I just randomly remembered something about Steam coming to PlayStation, in a capacity where you could just access your chats/groups and upload content to your media center (not playing/streaming games at all) which made me wonder why it's not still a thing, but I can't find a single fuckin' thing about this... Did... Did I just make this shit up subconsciously? 🤨

Guess I said some shit that wasn't liked many months ago. Just wondering if there is a place to have my acct reviewed for reinstatement or those communities? Not a bad person, just have some issues in speaking/getting my point across and it can easily be construed as aggressive/harsh when they isn't my intent.

It's said that we need to sleep because a waste product called adenosine builds up in our brains while we're awake. When we sleep the brain does this thing where adenosine gets flushed out by csf. Adenosine also makes us feel sleepy and can cause hallucinations if we've been awake for days. I looked up adenosine and it's a cns depressant, like a sleeping pill is. I remember reading an old news article where a man from China stayed awake for 11 days to watch football and he died. If the adenosine levels in his brain were so high to kill him why didn't he just pass out and sleep before he died if it's a cns depressant?

I don't know about y'all, but if I grew up in a country that never has the news criticizing its leaders, I'd be very skepical and deduce that there is censorshop going on and the offical news could be exaggerated or entirely falsified. Do people in authoritarian countries actually just eat the propaganda? To what extent do they believe the propaganda?

I had someone apply for a job through a recruiter at my company and passed the interview with flying colors. However, it has come across after the interview that they may not have the legal ability to work. The company I work for is audited regularly, so I can't have hiring them swept under the rug.

Sometimes (like today) I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet, but will be unable to sleep after. If I wake up at 4 or 5 am I usually just continue with my usual routine of exercising at 630, but today I woke up at 230 and couldn't sleep since because of an ache near my right hip and tautness in the right foot (maybe sciatica?). I don't feel particularly tired, but I sense I'll probably get a headache in the afternoon regardless of whether I manage to sleep again (usually happens after a night with interrupted sleep)

I've seen several posts of people asking for advice on situations like this with so many answers suggesting OP to fight back, document and contact the union, but this seems too much work for an unconvincing result, because there is no way a manager is going to fire an employee or a clique for a "he claims she claims" situation.

Problem is, I'm a pen and paper guy, and I'm having an awful time trying to learn anything about code. Where do I go to get help with this?

Hello Lemmings! For the past year or so, I've been working on a solo project, and I'm kinda close to being finished with it! It's a punk rock album, made with mostly open-source tools (the only non-FOSS stuff is a couple of plugins that didn't have good open-source alternatives)!

Like perhaps many others I am debating what to do with my PC at the end of support for windows 10 later this year. I have read a lot of discussions here about switching to Linux, and a lot of commentary that though it has gotten a lot more plug and play it maybe still has some weaknesses. I just want to know what those are, and if it can support what I currently do with my computer.
